Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Work with the director of AIT Operations to establish quarterly and annual operational priorities, develop the associated work plans and drive execution of the work plans.

  • Act as project manager of AIT operational project portfolio, facilitating internal governance frameworks to steer ongoing AIT projects related to the IT operation.

  • Manage a performance management program to monitor and optimize ongoing AIT operations.

  • Assist director with leading and coordinate cross-functional initiatives and projects to advance operational priorities.

  • Assist director with developing new strategies to optimize AITs services, talent, and cost structure.

  • Drive operational project portfolio.

  • Lead change management efforts in support of AIT transformation initiatives.

  • Manage AIT’s annual leadership accountabilities process.

  • Facilitate, in partnership with the director of AIT operations, the development, coordination and communication of AITs short and long-term strategies.

  • Lead, and/or implement process improvement initiatives to continually drive quality improvement, efficiency, productivity improvement throughout the organization

  • Identify new opportunities for performance improvement through data insights.

  • Prepare written reports, communications, and other materials required by the director of AIT operations.

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership for team members and act as an escalation point to AIT for operational issues.

  • Work with AdventHealth Corporate Services in the facilitation of addressing AIT space needs.

  • Manage the identification of new data insights and the development and distribution of consistent, high-quality, brand-aligned management reporting to facilitate the monitoring and performance management activities of AIT.

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with AdventHealth’s venture partners (Ascension Ventures, Heritage, Group, etc.) and AdventHealth treasury to source new technology innovation opportunities.

  • Participate in industry groups and present innovation accomplishments in public forums to elevate the AdventHealth brand.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree is preferred

  • 3+ years’ operational/project management experience is preferred

  • Diverse operational healthcare work experience for at least 2+ years.

  • Experience developing and implementing clinical, service, and/or operational process improvement initiatives on both the small and large scale

Job Summary:

The manager of AIT operations reports to the director of AIT operations and is responsible for assisting the director with the efficient running of the AIT operating model and management system across a large multi-state technology organization. In addition to daily operations, this position will be responsible for developing new strategies and identifying new operational initiatives and process improvement opportunities to optimize AIT’s performance. The manager of operations will assist the director with leading teams through the change management process associated with complex, Multi-department transformation efforts related to service, performance management, delivery, planning, and core operations. The manager of operations represents AdventHealth at various internal and external venues, collaboratives, and industry events. The role has oversight of operational programs and initiatives ensuring project teams are making informed decisions and executing core work in alignment with AdventHealth service standards.
