You Will Be Responsible For:
Provide decision support and recommendations to department leadership to foster positive business relationships and revenue functions.
Collaborate with and support AdventHealth to accomplish accurate and timely documentation for charge capture and processing leading to optimal revenue integrity for the organization.
Collaborate with and support AdventHealth and AIT Revenue Cycle reporting and analytics strategies including data analysis to support the business operations and decision support of the Revenue Cycle.
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and standardization in current business processes such as charge capture and communicate and implement these solutions effectively including preparing training materials and training opportunities to activate changes successfully.
Assist with monitoring and analyzing charge capture trends by assessing auditing and charge capture using available reporting tools to evaluate and analyze trending activity and communicate trends to department leadership. Assist with preparing mitigation planning, training, process improvement to guide Revenue Cycle best practice.
What You Will Need:
Three to five years of revenue management, charge services, or project management experience in a large healthcare system
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance or Healthcare Administration or another related field
Cerner Patient Accounting and Cerner Millennium
Willing to travel up to 50% as needed
The position of Director of Revenue Cycle Integration will provide operational and strategic leadership to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate revenue cycle functions to support the overall financial goals of our AMITA Health partners, in addition to other AdventHealth regional business offices. This will be accomplished through leading and directing the regional business office leaders on all aspects of strategic accounts receivable management, alongside implementing operational policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure successful results. The position will be consulting leaders responsible for project objectives, influencing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to establish and execute project objectives and cultivating external client relationships to achieve business objectives. This role serves as liaison between AdventHealth and AMITA implementation and business teams, to ensure all targets and requirements are completed on schedule within scope.
The position will provide opportunities to develop leadership skills necessary to be an essential member of the AdventHealth Revenue Cycle management team. The purpose of this position is to facilitate revenue integrity, and operational knowledge of revenue management to optimize revenue capture in the future. This position assists department leadership with multiple reporting applications and Revenue Cycle analytics and provides analysis of revenue data for Revenue Cycle leadership. This position supports the Revenue Integrity Department with the installation of CPA and all associated tasks of the implementation which include Clinical Revenue capture and other ancillary support service line. The position also supports revenue departments with the application of charge capture initiatives that are driven by the clinical/ancillary departments. This position will continue to grow and adapt as necessary with IT enhancements. Identify issues of concern regarding charge capture practices to ensure alignment and compliance with guidelines and policy.
