The role you’ll contribute:
This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment used to enhance live audio/video events. Associate AV Specialists will verify AV equipment is configured and operating and will troubleshoot faulty equipment. Associates will ensure all equipment is fully operational, repair and clean equipment. Dress loose wire/cable and follow general installation best practices.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Provides timely responses to user request/inquires: assists in prioritization of user requests.
Performs requests through to completion and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
Enter and update tickets required to monitor and track all work done in support of End User Computing.
Installs AV hardware and software, including switches, mixers, microphones and all other AV related devices. This includes installations and relocation of devices as required.
Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on any authorized AdventHealth Systems AV devices as requested by user
Primary support for tasks relating to AV Meetings, live audio/video events and troubleshooting.
Guide users with setting up presentations, operate video cameras, audio equipment used in meetings, and provide support for teleconferences, webinars or web-based classes.
Maintains accurate AV equipment inventory records and any network documentation deemed appropriate.
Telecom Service - Replace phones (wired, wireless); Replace handset cords, replace line cords, check for dial tone, test system functionality prior to start of meeting, replace wireless batteries and chargers (where appropriate).
Simple Service - Establish teleconference connections when necessary.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
Customer service centric
Strong Time Management skills
Excellent verbal and oral communications
Adept typist
Knowledge of AV platforms such as Crestron, Cisco Conferencing, ClickShare, and Skype for Business
Microsoft Office applications and ticket management systems
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- 1 year of AV support experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
