The role you’ll contribute:
The Web Manager ensures development, implementation, and quality assurance of the organization’s website presence. This position reports to the Director of Web Marketing Strategy and supervises a team handling website update.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Responsible for supporting the strategic vision of the Executive Director of Digital Brand and Content and Director of Web Marketing Strategy.
· Lead, manage, and elevate website staff, cross-functional teams, and partner/vendor relationships, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and supervision.
· Work closely the Director of Web Marketing Strategy to ensure proper strategic planning, implementation, analysis, and optimization of website and other digital assets.
· Provide thought leadership website best practices, ensuring the organizational website delivers maximum value.
· Provide orchestration among team members, leadership, key stakeholders, and internal teams (such as IT) and vendors/partners to ensure the website is continually updated and maintained.
· Define and drive organizational website goals, strategy, and tactics to propel engagement with Adventist Health System.
· Work closely with design staff to drive optimal website design, functionality and search engine optimization.
· Provide strategic recommendations to clients based on information from analytics, website audits, competitive assessments, and user testing.
· Research, present, and educate the organization on web/digital strategies and optimal user experience.
· Lead documentation, education, and enforcement of the website management and compliance processes and standards.
· Design workflows for lifecycle processes that include research, development, reviews and testing, and approval, launch, etc.
· Oversee website migrations across multiple digital platforms.
· Maintain website subscriptions and licenses.
· Increase website traffic by working with marketing and content staff to ensure the website ranks and converts.
· Continually evaluate efforts and determine resources (e.g. staffing, vendors, costs) needed for future success.
· Display high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines.
· Lead and coordinate CMS trainings as needed.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
Web Development Proficiency:
· Proficiency of web development languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
· Mastery in utilizing Content Management Systems (CMS). Drupal required.
Mobile/Site Optimization:
· Mastery of responsive web design and mobile optimization techniques to ensure seamless user experiences across all devices. Knowledge of SiteImprove, SauceLabs, Web Core Vitals is required.
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:
· Mastery of human-centric designs and heuristics in developing innovative, award-winning website designs, with focus on healthcare.
· Familiarity with UX/UI design principles to ensure the creation of user-friendly websites that optimize user engagement and conversion rates.
· Proficiency in design software like Adobe XD or Figma.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
· In-depth understanding of SEO principles and techniques, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and schema markup.
· Skill in using SEO tools like SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Lighthouse, and Ahrefs for comprehensive website analysis.
Data Analytics and Interpretation:
· Adeptness in leveraging web analytics tools like MS Amplitude, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager to monitor and analyze website performance in healthcare landscape.
· Ability to derive actionable insights from data and formulate data-driven marketing strategies.
Personalization Mastery:
· Competence or experience in managing personalization tools/campaigns for websites, including list segmentation, A/B testing, using SalesForce or other web tools for delivering a sophisticated targeted healthcare content strategy.
Project Management Skills:
· Strong project management capabilities to efficiently coordinate and oversee multiple digital marketing initiatives and campaigns. Wrike knowledge is a plus.
Content Strategy Development:
· Skill in developing comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with broader marketing objectives, encompassing content creation and distribution.
Brand Management:
· Ability to uphold and enhance the company's online brand identity, ensuring consistent representation across all digital channels. Content Center of Excellence development experience is a plus.
Effective Communication:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey marketing strategies clearly. Knowledge of healthcare systems is preferred.
Problem Solving and Adaptability:
· Proficiency in troubleshooting website issues and adaptability to rapid changes in the digital marketing landscape.
Legal and Ethical Considerations:
· Awareness of digital marketing laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and adherence to ethical marketing practices within healthcare.
Time Management:
· Efficient time management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Digital Marketing Expertise:
· Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies, encompassing SEO, SEM, content marketing, with understanding of social media marketing, email marketing, and PPC advertising.
Continuous Learning:
· A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in digital marketing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Communications, or related field and 8-10 years of experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Master’s degree preferred or equivalent.
