AdventHealth Altamonte seeks to hire an Operational Manager who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Facility Profile:

Located north of Orlando in the community of Altamonte Springs, our facility is consistently named “Best Hospital” for overall quality, reputation, doctors and nurses by local residents. As the largest satellite campus within the AdventHealth system, AdventHealth Altamonte has been providing state-of-the-art healthcare to the community since 1973. Department Profile:

The Care Management Department is located in every campus throughout the AdventHealth system. Our objective is to create a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy for services to meet an individuals and family’s comprehensive needs. Care Management is an integrated department with physicians, clinical/nursing teams, ancillary departments and the revenue cycle teams. Care management meets the needs of our patients, families and significant others throughout the care continuum including the post-discharge needs.

Work Hours/Shifts:

Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

Job Summary:

Manage and lead daily Care Management operations at location(s). Serves as primary point of contact for Executive Leadership and other departmental managers. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff

  • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel

  • Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals

  • Knowledge of Cerner; NaviHealth; Suncare; EOS: FirstLook; and Qlikview (Preferred)

  • Knowledge and skill in using CNO dashboard (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Nursing or other healthcare related field

  • One (1) year leadership experience

  • Three (3) years’ experience in the functional area

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

  • Accreditive Care Management (Preferred)

  • Accountable for communicating achievement of campus goals and imperatives

  • Responsible for daily progress of operational imperative deployment

  • Provides management of daily operations and maintains department budgets and labor.

  • Manages the recruitment, retention, training, and competence of staff and analysts. Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, frequency, level-of-detail of staff work product.

  • Builds and maintains relationships across multiple disciplines to achieve common goals.
