The role you’ll contribute:

The Sr Program Manager, Wellbeing leads the implementation of the wellbeing vision and strategy for AdventHealth. This role delivers companywide policies, plan design, programming, administration, and success measures for wellbeing efforts across the enterprise. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Lead company-wide well-being strategy implementation, provide divisional support (toolkits, best practices, etc.) to enhance whole person health within the organization.

  • Identifies health and wellbeing opportunities for team members through assessment of population health data.

  • In collaboration with Physician leadership and key stakeholders oversees system-wide governance process (e.g., Physician Wellbeing Committee) that advances cohesive well-being strategies, policies, and practices to address work demands and environment unique to physicians with a focus on mind, body, and spirit health.

  • Supports and/or co-leads health and wellbeing committees to ensure programming is effective, consistent, and scalable across AdventHealth’s various markets, functions, and locations.

  • Support the advancement of AdventHealth’s Behavioral Health wellbeing model.

  • Maximize/leverage the expertise, tools, and other resources of Wellbeing vendor partners

  • Collaborates with others within the organization to conduct research on new program opportunities and enhancements.

  • Oversees vendor relationships that support Wellbeing program and service delivery

  • Develops and oversees planning for integration of existing AdventHealth clinical and other resources and supporting assets with vendor capabilities.

  • Optimize the strategy and tactics for the wellbeing champion network to advance the culture of wellbeing at a grassroots level.

  • Collaborates with AdventHealth departments to address environmental and cultural changes/issues in advancement of team member wellbeing.

  • Communicates progress and performance of wellbeing initiatives regularly with divisional and market executive leadership to demonstrate program value and impact on healthcare costs, absence, workers compensation and productivity.

  • Prepares reports and presentations on health and wellbeing data and progress/performance as needed/requested.

  • Supports development and tracks outcomes of budgets for AdventHealth's wellbeing efforts to ensure appropriate stewardship of resources.

  • Defines strategies to continually monitor effectiveness of well-being programming and adjusts short and long-term strategy based on specific health and behavioral outcomes along with other key metrics.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Health Promotion, Health Sciences, or related field

  • 5 years progressive experience working in health and well-being, health promotion, health sciences

  • 2 years progressive leadership responsibility

  • In depth technical knowledge of contemporary population health and wellbeing strategies

  • Working knowledge of lifestyle-related and behavioral health issues and their implications on team member health

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

  • Leadership or professional development certifications such as REACH leadership development course

  • Continuing education or technical course in health and wellness disciplines such as Harvard Total Worker Health Certification or Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist
