AdventHealth Laundry Staff Full Time Split Shift in Burleson, Texas

- Collects soiled linen and clothing.
- Assists in the sorting of soiled articles.
- Responsible for all washing and drying of soiled articles sent to the laundry for cleaning.
- Transfers clean linens and distributes to wings according to their daily predetermined needs.
- Assists in labeling resident’s clothing as needed.
- Follows safety precautions when using equipment and supplies.
- Assures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
- Reports defective equipment or needed repairs.
- Have a working knowledge of laundry policies and procedures.
- Assures that infection control practices are maintained.
- Coordinates isolation procedures when necessary.
- Reports all accidents/incidents to your supervisor or charge nurse.
- Attends staff education, training and other meetings
- Maintains professional conduct while interacting with residents
- Follows facility policies and procedures including but not limited to resident rights, infection control, dignity, etc.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Possess the ability to follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism
- Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
