You Will Be Responsible For:
Analyze, produce, compile, and present information for the benefit of management and financial decision making.
Maintains general ledger records to ensure accuracy of all reporting.
Maintains statistical information for hospital reporting and financial statement production.
Performs financial analysis of hospital financial or statistical related data.
Assists with cash management, balance sheet reconciliations, and other month-end requirements.
Handles special projects and other duties as assigned or as needed.
Assist with other work requested as approved by Controller.
What You Will Need:
4-year degree BA/BS in Finance or Accounting preferred.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Healthcare experience preferred
Under the direction of the Controller, Senior Accountant is responsible for analyzing, producing, compiling, and presenting information for the benefit of management and financial decisions. Senior Accountant is responsible for providing critical areas of the close and budget process, assisting in analysis, and assisting Controller in projects and other duties as needed. Senior Accountant may lead in the Budget process along with the Monthly Close process and determine critical decisions in both processes. Reporting and analytical skills required to meet the needs of financial decisions or other related surveys and required data.
