The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for physician services including physician recruitment, physician relations at Gordon Hospital. Key areas of focus will include developing recruitment strategies that ensure recruitment activities are in compliance with all state and federal guidelines, developing strategies for improved physician relations.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Generating candidates through networking, advertising, internet, sourcing, job fairs, etc.

· Screening candidates and sharing their curriculum vitae as appropriate. Requests references, checks same when appropriate.

· Manages the interview process, with follow-up as needed. Coordinates visits, schedules interviews, travel and accommodations, family needs, regional information, housing and relocation issues.

· Responsible for all operational responsibilities in daily operations which include: review of all bills, invoices and otherwise for recruiting expenses. Formulates and recommends annual professional recruitment budget.

May supervisor Recruiter PRN.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications:

· Associates Degree in marketing, business or allied health or other related field

· Must have excellent communication skills; computer, typewriter, calculator, telephone skills mandatory; good people skills; ability to organize work and time efficiently, present a positive image; able to tolerate frequent interruptions involved in coordinating several tasks being done concomitantly; ability to do travel, both by car and air; able to spend extensive time in the evening and weekends entertaining physicians and their families as well as time in the evenings and weekends on the telephone interfacing with physicians.

Preferred qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years health care recruiting, physician recruiting preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Certified Medical Staff Recruiter (CMSR) certification a plus.
