You Will Be Responsible For:
Provides direction to department and facility leadership in planning of a systemic, organization-wide approach to continuous survey readiness
Chairs the Continuous Survey Readiness Committee
Coordinates the planning and execution of the TJC annual intra-cycle monitoring
Conducts tracer activity within the hospital and the clinic setting
Plans, coordinates and conducts educational programs on accreditation for employees
Facilitate mock surveys and assists in the development of plans for improvement
Prepares survey specific documentation as requested by regulatory agencies
Facilitates the Good Catch Program
Serves as liaison to the ANCC Pathways to Excellence Program Office
Serves as an advisor to nursing leadership team and shared governance/shared decision making councils
Provides a systemic approach to Pathways to Excellence project management and implementation by coordinating all phases of designation and re-designation process.
What You Will Need:
Strong organization skills including completing work by established deadlines
Current RN license in GA
ASN required; BSN strongly preferred
Minimum 1 years experience teaching and /or leading evidence based projects preferred
Minimum 3 years as an acute care nurse preferred
The Accreditation/Pathways Coordinator serves as a member of the Quality Management Department. This position leads regulatory survey readiness program planning for Gordon Hospital. Coordinates survey activities for The Joint Commission (TJC), Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) and CMS Validation Surveys.
