Work Hours/Shift: Full Time Day

You Will Be Responsible For:

Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth’s core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork.

• Provides world class service while answering the Catering area phone, updating voice mails, forwarding calls appropriately, and greeting Catering customers. Provides accurate information to customer calls regarding the Catering ordering process, orders, and billing.

• Communicates effectively and appropriately in verbal and written documentation with staff and customers. Escalates order changes and cancellations quickly and to the correct area. Provides written updated orders for Catering Manager and Banquet Chef.

• Assists with coordination of department and external community events.

• Receives orders through Catering email inbox. Enters one-time orders and standing orders accurately into EventMaster.

• Coordinates with NS system IT EventMaster Specialist regarding new items that customers order and request adding them to EventMaster software program.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Required:

• Ability to read, speak and write English effectively

• General computer knowledge

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Preferred:

• Bilingual English/Spanish

• AdventHealth software

• CBORD-EventMaster nutritional software

• Two years’ experience in clerical role

• ServSafe Certification or equivalent

Job Summary:

The Catering Support Specialist handles all processes related to the catering functions on the Orlando campus, including multiple Physicians’ Lounges. Provides world-class customer service via phone, email, or in person; receives all catering requests and communicates orders and changes to Production Staff; enters orders into CBORD-EventMaster; coordinates with NS system IT EventMaster Specialist regarding new and special-order items; prepares customer contracts and end of month billing, including collecting payments and preparing IDTs. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
