The role you’ll contribute:
The Senior Social Media Specialist assists in the planning, developing, executing, and evaluating social media and digital content, advertising, campaigns and programs for AdventHealth. The role will include writing and creating engaging content for social platforms that amplifies on-brand messaging to further AdventHealth strategic priorities and business goals. This position requires data-driven decision-making to best position content, tell compelling stories and use real-time insights to achieve appropriate audience engagement, reach and growth. s

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support the Senior Social Media and Content Manager on managing the social media content calendar to publish to AdventHealth social media handles on a regular basis, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
· Scheduling and posting daily content to our current social media pages.
· Work with cross-functional teams to build out editorial calendar.
· Ensure copy is written in AdventHealth’s brand voice and imagery/video meets brand standards.
· Work collaboratively with the copy, design and photography/video teams to develop original channel-specific content and execute marketing campaigns.
· Assist with social media reporting, providing thoughtful, strategic insight to internal teams to help guide decision-making.
· Help generate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual social media reports on the development and progress of our social media platforms and incorporate optimization strategies and analyze data.
· Collaborate with the Social Media and Content team and existing partners to stay ahead of platform developments and emerging trends as well as expanding in new platforms.
· Actively participate in team brainstorms and contribute ideas to keep social content fresh, relevant and different based on emerging/current trends and our target audience’s behaviors.
· Collaborate with partner departments to escalate cross-channel inquiries/complaints to the appropriate teams, ensuring successful service recovery and/or follow-up.
Provide ad hoc issues management support to Director, Sr. Manager, and/or Manager of Reputation by flexing into crisis and emergency projects on an as-needed basis.
Support internal, cross-functional teams via digital research, intelligence gathering, and consumer engagement relating to high-priority projects and events.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Windows Applications: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Excellent skills in social media platforms, organic social media, and paid social media
Experience with real-time analytics
Obsession with social media in all forms — Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter — and an understanding of why the most popular content on those platforms became popular
Have an ability to identify attributes of content people want to share
A genuine love for and excitement about digital platforms
Flexibility to remain available during regular evenings, weekends, and holidays to provide continuity of support for high-risk issues and monitoring of digital and social media assets
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or related field (as determined by department leadership) or seven years of related experience in lieu of degree.
· 3-5 years of experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or related field (as determined by department leadership).
