Pay Range: Minimum: $ 35.59 Maximum: $56.34
The role you'll contribute:
Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards ofsafe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. Provides shift leadership and support to the Imaging staff.

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals.
Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports / documents unusual occurrences and records patient’s condition.
Facilitates smooth patient flow, scheduling and optimal use of equipment/resources.
Communicates in writing and verbally with all physicians, imaging personnel, students and hospital staff in facilitating the continuum of care.
Participates in the interviewing and selection process.
Responsible for orienting, training and mentoring staff and students.
Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
May conduct audits regarding documentation and outcomes.
Problem solves immediate issues that may negatively impact patient care.
Assists leadership in identifying, developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Required:
High school diploma or GED
ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training.
Basic Life Support BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred:
Two years of experience performing CT Tech duties/responsibilities.
Previous leadership experience
Associate’s degree
Bachelor’s degree
