The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for the coordination of continuous regulatory, licensure, and accreditation compliance in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards across Advent Hospitals. Develops leading practice regulatory program, structures and processes to drive optimal regulatory compliance and competence. Serves as primary expert, facilitator, and consultant for regulatory matters.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Lead the regulatory structure, committee and/or council. Ensure proficiency and efficacy of chapter/standard leaders. Oversee, verify, and finalize annual regulatory compliance assessments.

  • Coordinate all state licensure, federal and accreditation surveys. Participate I other regulatory reviews (i.e. Board of Pharmacy, Radiology, Lab, Food Services) as appropriate. Oversee post-survey procedures.

  • Facilitate entity-level regulatory education

  • Leads proactive compliance assessments, tracers, audits, direct observations, and interviews. Coordinate tracer teams. Participates in development of system education and tracer tools, and data repository needs.

  • Coordinate the regulatory plan of activities. Participates in mock or actual surveys at other enterprise locations with supervisor approval.

  • Coordinate plans that address actual or potential survey findings. Participate in and lead resolution of system vulnerabilities.

  • Analyze compliance assessment data to determine regulatory priorities.

  • Develop and manage regulatory dashboards

  • Serves as the entity point person for standards interpretation and clarification, and/or entity=based correspondence with regulatory agencies.

  • Ensure policies, procedures and guidelines are compliant with regulations

  • Collaborates with entity, group, and enterprise quality leadership and staff to address potential vulnerabilities, ensure regulatory compliance and promote leading practice

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Three years of experience in a healthcare setting

  • One year of Project Management, Performance Improvement, and/or Change Facilitation experience

  • Advanced skills in written and oral communication Experience in development of educational tools Exemplary skill with computer applications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Healthcare or clinical degree

  • Experience in healthcare related field, oversight and coordination of regulatory/accreditation readiness program, survey preparation, coordination, and response/ follow

  • Past participation in regulatory activities
