Schedule: Full Time

Shift Mon-Fri 6:45am - 3:15pm or 4 x 10hr shifts 6:45 am to 5:15pm

Location:AdventHealth Hendersonville

The role you’ll contribute: Navigates AdventHealth Hendersonville robotics’ patients through their diagnosis and treatment ensuring timely services. Meets with patients/families to provide emotional support and guidance from diagnosis and through end-stage disease, if necessary. The Coordinator will provide medical information, education and knowledge of referring resources. The Coordinator is responsible for facilitating rapid scheduling and follow-ups on patients. Tracks patients to ensure completion for their recommended treatment plans will also be performed. Promotes the Navigator program and cancer prevention, detection and treatment awareness to the community through presentations and participation in cancer-related organizations. Attends appropriate programs, health fairs and events, as needed and makes presentations to appropriate groups. Assists the Director of Surgical Services in planning, developing and implementing new or expanded programs/services. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and promoting the AdventHealth Hendersonville’s Robotics Program.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Data collection to monitor patient outcomes and robotics’ program performance.

• Responsible for robotics program implementation within surgical services to include: surgery staff training, coordination of physician training, coordination with robotics sale representatives to stay abreast of new technology, and leading interdisciplinary robotics program team.

• Facilitates the navigation of all surgical robotics patients, as a single point of contact.Ensures efficient and coordinated services through the screening, diagnosis, treatment and support/educational services.

• Establishes and maintains positive open communication (verbal and written) and relationships with: referring physicians, surgeons, hospital staff, and robotics companies, to ensure quality care for patients with health concerns.

• Facilitates patient continuity of care between hospital departments and provide patient follow-up for laboratory, radiology and pathology procedures.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• ·Current RN license

• ·3-5 years of operating room RN experience Preferred

• ·2-5 years of position-related experience Preferred

• ·2 years of experience in physician relations, project management, strategic planning, and/or business development. Preferred

• ·2 years of clinical leadership experience Preferred
