Shift: Days and occasional evening shifts and Every 3rd weekend as needed

Location: AdventHealth Hendersonville

The role you’ll contribute: Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders.

The value you’ll bring to the team

• Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency in standard work parameters, operational programs, dispensing and compounding systems, hospital computer systems, and medication ordering systems

• Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and dispensing of patient‐specific medication doses

• Completes critical medication order scrutiny, drug profile review, and patient monitoring to identify, prevent, or mitigate medication-related problems

• Provides patient‐centered care services

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• One year of Contemporary hospital pharmacy experience

• Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree

• Applicable State Pharmacy License
