You Will Be Responsible For:
Promotes clinical information system optimization exhibited by:
Serves as liaison between the hospital and enterprise-wide teams.
Identifies significant process issues, shares findings with enterprise-wide teams.
Serves as an internal consultant to optimize workflow processes related to information management
Provides a leadership role in defining and communicating best practice of enterprise-wide system use by facility clinicians and non-direct care staff
Facilitates assessment of workflow processes before, during, and after system implementation.
Serves as a customer service advocate improving enterprise-wide systems
Works closely with Regional Leadership to deliver quality systems to hospitals by facilitating system issue resolution.
Communicates with facility Clinical Informatics Leads to coordinate enterprise-wide system activities. Collects and shares information to develop teamwork and strengthen relationships.
What You Will Need:
Master’s Degree or 5-7 years of related professional experience
Five or more years of related clinical experience and clinical leadership experience
5 years of experience with information systems, clinical software, and other computer applications.
Active Registered Nurse License
As a converging point person for people, process, and technology, the Regional Clinical Informatics Manager has a leadership role in Transforming Clinical Care, maximizing the benefits of information systems within AHS-IS while coordinating the regional clinical informatics for assigned facilities. Leads efforts to optimize people’s use of clinical information technology and identify opportunities for clinical process improvement. Acts as a key contributor working in collaboration with professionals on enterprise-wide clinical informatics projects. Collaborates to enhance clinical systems in support of excellence in patient care, clinical transformation and establishment of best practices. Communicates findings and provides recommendations to facility leadership and Executive Team.
