The role you’ll contribute:

The paramedic is a professional who works under the direction of the Registered Nurse, within the scope of the paramedic practice, provides care to patients in accordance with hospital mission and patient care policies and procedures.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Communicates, collects, reports accurate patient care data to appropriate members of the interdisciplinary team.

• Anticipates patient care problems and informs the RN/physician

• Establishes priorities of patient care based on the needs of the patients

• Performs ordered 12 lead EKGs as directed by the RN.

• Accurately and safely performs the insertion of a saline lock, long term IV, and urinary catheterization, and may be responsible for pulling arterial and venous sheaths.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

• Florida Paramedic license

• BLS Certification

• ACLS Certification
