The role you'll contribute:

This person will perform duties under the supervision of licensed anesthesia care physicians. They will also assist the licensed anesthesia physician in the clinical setting. They will demonstrate practical knowledge and expertise in all general areas of anesthesia. Other responsibilities may include:

• Maintaining and organizing the anesthesia environment, equipment, supplies and personnel to facilitate department functions.

• Ensuring department compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to anesthesia care.

• Overseeing and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of anesthesia delivery systems, monitors and ancillary devices.*

• Maintains sterile supplies within the expiration date and ensures sufficient inventory of all equipment and supplies.*

• Ensures that equipment and monitors are in working order and are properly connected.

• Maintains sufficient inventory of all equipment and supplies.

• Prepares Anesthesia supplies, equipment and invasive lines for each surgical procedure per individual Ensures anesthesia delivery systems are properly functioning before each procedure (e.g., Ultrasound equipment)

• Prepares properly for various types of intubations: Endotracheal Intubation, Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA), video laryngoscope, fiberoptic scope, and difficult intubation cart.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Preferred:

• Prior experience as an Anesthesia Tech (at least 6 months of experience)
