Location: Adventhealth Avista

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for the overall functioning and day-to-day operation of the RIS/PACS system. Assures proper staff training, daily system maintenance, troubleshooting and disaster planning. Serves as the primary liaison to the Centura-wide RIS/PACS initiative for assigned facility and to IT at this site. Oversight for RIS/PACS support staff.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Development of workflow templates for network and specific system components as assigned.\

• Assist with downtime recovery.

• Training of the radiology, hospital, physician, and physician office staff on use of the system, including establishing the initial, new hire and ongoing training.

• Assists in development, implementation and operations of procedures and policies pertaining to any new systems or processes that result from the RIS/PACS systems, including downtime procedures.

• Maintains database integrity.

• System Maintenance: maintaining the system configurations and workflow, corrections to data bases, inputting new data forms, back-up systems, purging and archiving of data, ongoing performance and

• QA reports, integrity and security as needed from IT, equipment up keep and troubleshooting of problems, etc.

• Assist with evaluation of and recommendations for budgeting, and implementation of new equipment and replacement equipment needed for the systems as assigned.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Education: High School Diploma or GED

· Experience: One year of experience with a RIS/PACS system or related experience.
