The role you’ll contribute:
The Revenue Integrity Charge Analyst oversees the activities of all Central Florida Division facilities including all offsite facilities associated with the hospitals, including, but not limited to, offsite Emergency Departments, Wound Care, and PT Solutions offices. This oversight includes charge reconciliation audits, chart audits, daily reviews of rejected and unposted charges, charge description master (CDM) oversight and updates as required. The Revenue Integrity Revenue Analyst is responsible to oversee hospital functions as they relate to hospital charges and serve as hospital liaison with the AH Revenue Officer and AH Corporate Charge Services and Chargemaster departments. The Revenue Integrity Revenue Analyst works with the ADH CDM Services department Central Florida Division facilities whenever a new charge description is requested to be added to the AH Corporate CDM. Also functions as an advisor, educator and clinical/billing liaison between ancillary departments, finance, and business office staff. Ensures charge accuracy by reviewing patient charts and corresponding charges for appropriateness. Provide recommendations to ensure compliance; improve procedures, revenue, cash flow, and strengthen controls. Performs follow-up audits when appropriate. Produce and distribute reporting on errors to management and staff as well as provide necessary educational training. Provides monthly reports to Revenue Integrity Director as needed. Responsible for creating presentations utilizing the trended data or as assigned by leadership. Provides project management on a variety of projects and other tasks as required by Revenue Integrity department. Design department specific reports that can be easily created and shared with the Revenue Integrity team as needed. Also performs other duties as assigned. All additional duties are completed in an acceptable manner and in a reasonable amount of time. Position reports to Revenue Integrity Manager with a dotted line to Revenue Integrity Director.

Reviews department charge reconciliations.
Reviews all Facilities Revenue and Usage report weekly to confirm accurate revenue trends and identify any errors.
Works with Revenue Integrity auditors to resolve issues.
Develop and communicate Revenue Cycle statistic reports through clear, concise, and completely accurate reports in a timely manner.
Extends training and recommendations to help determine the cause of identified issues with department managers and/or staff.
Works in conjunction with department directors to answer questions relating to revenue management and to assist with requesting new CDMs for the AH Corporate Charge Description Master.
Ensures that coding, revenue codes, standardized description nomenclature, patient billable versus non-billables, catalog development and updates (add/inactivate/modify) for all CDM items are appropriate and verified through feedback from Revenue Cycle leadership.
Maintains awareness of new regulatory requirements and reimbursement changes at both the State and Federal levels to adjust charging practices, information system rules with Revenue Cycle applications, in collaboration with AIT Charge Services.

Minimum qualifications :
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare or related field, with specific emphasis on billing, charge services, chargemaster, or coding
