Schedule: FT- 40hours/week

Shift : 1 st - Days

Location: 210 MARIE LANGDON DRIVE, MANCHESTER, 40962, KY

The role you’ll contribute:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the obstetrics/gynecology and newborn nursery setting. Communicates with nurses/team leasers/coworkers, as appropriate bout the patients clinical condition. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition. Additionally, is able to perform general patient care technician duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide bedside patient care including vital signs, blood sugars, baths, feeding and repositioning

· Provide assistance to nurse when providing patient care

· Provide excellent customer service

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Ability to provide Basic Care

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

-High school diploma or GED

-Able to function as surgical scrub during cesarean sections

-Minimum 6 months OR experience as non-certified surgical technician or successful completion of surgical technology course.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

· Maintains CPR
