Work Hours/Shifts:

Full-time Day shift

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Demonstrates ongoing competency in assessment, planning and evaluating patient care within the scope of practice

  • Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team

  • Oversees care delivered by RN's, LPN's, Unit Clerks and OB Techs

  • Effectively makes multiple rounds during your shift

  • Be a clinical and service resource to staff

  • Ensures appropriate patient placement


What You Will Need:

  • ASN degree required; BSN preferred

  • Three years RN experience required with 2 years in acute care setting, such as OB.

  • Current KY RN license

  • ACLS & NRP within 1 year of hire

  • Current CPR

Job Summary:

Provides direct and indirect patient care primarily for OB setting with potential cross coverage for all other units when needed. Communicates with physicians / team leaders / coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties in all departments.
