You Will Be Responsible For:
Issues medical equipment (i.e. PCA, IV, and SCD pumps).
Records info into MEM's handheld at 95% to 97% accuracy.
Associated paperwork is correctly filled out at 95% to 97% accuracy.
If MEM's handheld is not working properly notifies Pt Charge Specialists.
Issues Supplies to departments and stock carts.
Records info into HMS at 95% to 97%
Inventories each assigned stock cart once every 6 weeks
Reports HMS Inventory issues as they arise to the Inventory Specialist.
Completes stat phone calls and orders within 20 minutes.
Issues carts and trays
Writes down the appropriate information in the cart book > 95% to 97%.
Moves the carts and trays in Cart Controller 95% to 97%.
Identifies missing items before the customer leaves and follows up to ensure the return of the missing items.
Puts away stock.
Reports any discrepancies to the Inventory Specialist
Puts stock on the shelf at 95% to 97% accuracy.
Rotates stock according to expiration date.
Moves boxes around if they are opened so the open boxes are in the front.
Cleans the department.
Cuts box tops as they open the box 95% to 97%
Picks up insert papers from the boxes to keep department clean.
Keeps shelves straightened as they pull items.
Pushes out cardboard bins before the end of each shift.
Keeps break room cleaned and picked-up.
Knowledge of the storeroom and answers phones when needed.
Ability to find items in the storeroom based on bin and shelf locations.
Answers the phone and has the ability to write down the appropriate information to obtain the correct supply.
Performs other duties assigned by the Operations Manager
Performs the duty and ask questions if they do not understand the duty.
What You Will Need:
Must be in good physical condition.
Must be able to follow verbal, as well as written instructions.
Must be able to read and write and speak English.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and walk up one flight of stairs and down at least two flights.
One year experience with inventories and customer service preferred
Valid Florida Drivers' License
Purdue or Novation Certification preferred
