You Will Be Responsible For:
Coordinates all medical staff education initiatives
Coordinates medical staff CME program, both tracking CMEs for the staff as well as providing CME opportunities.
Coordinates educational initiatives established to promote and uphold standards of professional practice, Best Practices, Innovative/Relevant Care Delivery Models for medical staff.
Coordinates provider orientation.
Coordinates medical student/resident/intern program initiatives in conjunction with educational institutions.
Coordinates all educational activities for students in professions that will require Medical Staff privileges when completed and licensed/registered.
Planned educational objectives are systematically evaluated for quality and effectiveness of provider professional development practice.
Target goals for special projects/initiatives are met. Evaluates and recommends future modifications as necessary.
Acquires and maintains current knowledge and competency in physician and provider professional development practice
Cultivates and maintains beneficial relationships emphasizing enhanced collaboration between medical staff and support department
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- Associate’s degree
Coordinates medical education initiatives set forth by AdventHealth Ocala administration for professional development and education of licensed independent practitioners(LIP). Initiatives include but are not limited to Patient Satisfaction, provider education and leadership-training projects. Demonstrates strong orientation to intra-organizational communication. Plans and evaluates educational programs for licensed independent practitioners. Utilizes all necessary resources and strategies as required to achieve desired results.
