Work Hours/Shift:

PRN, Overnight Shift

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Delivers prescribed medication via inhalation in accordance with the physician’s order

  • Oxygen therapy in accordance with departmental oxygen protocol

  • Performs setup of Holter monitors

  • Performs electrocardiograms

  • Performs cardiac stress test

  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments, as appropriate

  • Educates patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions

  • Adheres to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Ensures patient documentation is accurate, complete and complies with department protocols and procedures

  • Cleans and stocks equipment

  • Participates in the Code Blue and Rapid Response Team

  • Administers all non-invasive modes of therapy for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

  • Provides clerical assistance as required by the department

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Graduated from an Paramedic program

  • Paramedic license required from the respective state board and/or respective state equivalent

Job Summary:

Provides patients with Cardiopulmonary support treatment, care, and evaluations during their inpatient stay.
