Schedule : Full Time
Shift : Rotating shifts to include weekends shared with other supervisory staff. Coverage is from 6a-11p.

The role you’ll contribute:
Performs Radiographic imaging procedures. Positions, moves, and transports patients. Performs clerical duties. Assists Radiologist in performance of special imaging procedures. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Provides leadership and guidance for the X-ray area. Coordinates patient and staff schedules. Maintains the flow of work through job assignments for technologists and students. Responsibility to adhere to the Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Supervises, organizes, and directs daily radiology department workflow of patients, technologists, and students
Is responsible for personnel, including staff scheduling and adherence to on call policy. Makes recommendations for staffing including position changes and staffing level changes
Performs or assigns and reviews area QA and QC. Completes staff schedules. Coordinates routine patient flow as needed
Maintains routine department inventory, assures supplies are requested to be ordered when appropriate
Responsible for fixing studies on PACS and troubleshooting equipment
Develops and maintains a working relationship with radiologists and staff to review, document and implement imaging protocols to ensure a consistently high level of image quality
Takes an active role in obtaining and maintaining compliance with various accrediting bodies
Ensures imaging protocols are established, updated and followed by staff
Attends and participates in department and/or manages meetings and disseminates information to staff. Encourages staff to attend all staff meetings
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an A.R.R.T. approved Radiographic program
Associates degree preferred
Current A.R.R.T. registration and Florida General Radiographer License
Minimum 3 years’ of experience
BLS Certification through American Heart Association
