PRIMARY CUSTOMERS, PARTNERS, AND TEAM:
At AdventHealth Univeristy (AHU), our primary customers are students, prospective students, parents, faculty, and staff. Our partners are physicians, allied health clinicians, other employees of AdventHealth, Colleges, Local Adventist Academies & Public Schools Guidance Teams.
The Student Worker – Student Assistant will primarily be at the front desk in Enrollment/Admissions and managing the operator for the campus. Daily duties and responsibilities include communicating with prospective and current students through phone calls, text messages and emails. Support Enrollment and Admission with any additional tasks. Greet & provide exceptional customer service to our guests at the Front Desk. Engage in some special events outside of office hours. Candidates must be currently registered and enrolled as a student at AHU. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Proficient use of computers
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
People-oriented, self-motivated, process-oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Able to maintain strict adherence to discretionary and confidentiality practices
Customer service experience
Must be currently registered and enrolled as a student at AHU
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
Experience in communications, customer service and/or hospitality.
Prior use of Goldmine or any other customer relationship management system (CRM)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates behaviors at AdventHealth Univeristy in harmony with our Core Values - Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship.
Ensures phone lines for campus are being answered.
Conducts phone calls for prospective, applicants, and newly admitted students.
Ensures student and prospect data accuracy and integrity in Goldmine (CRM).
Greets & provides exceptional customer service to our guests at the Front Desk.
Schedules and confirms appointments and interviews.
Supports Enrollment Counselors and Admissions team members.
Builds and maintains quality interactions with Faculty and Staff members.
Scans for security threats while on Front Desk duties.
Represents the department and abides by Enrollment and Admissions code of conduct and hospitality standards at all times.
