You Will Be Responsible For:

The CMMS Senior Analyst is part of the CMMS Operations team whose role is to support multiple departments within the Central Florida Division - South Region (CFDSR) and work collaboratively with the AdventHealth Corporate iSynergy and Shared Services Teams. The CFDSR departments include the Support Services Group, Office of Design & Construction, Asset Management, and Centra Cares in the use of the designated Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) through partnership with Corporate Shared Services and members of the local Support Services Group at our Hospitals. Works under the direction of the Facilities Manager of CMMS Operations and is responsible for completing CMMS related activities including but not limited to: data validation, data conversion, functional specifications, program software system quality testing, identification of performance and/or environmental issues, coordinating and/or performing any necessary application or operating system tuning, and support of compliance and operations initiatives within all projects whether system or operational. The CMMS Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the integrity, effectiveness and efficiency of services related to the current CMMS. May be assigned projects including but not limited to: report creation, data extraction, trend analysis, and testing in partnership with the Corporate Shared Services departments, IT, and Security teams. The CMMS Senior Analyst is expected to take the initiative to prioritize and manage work while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision while handling one or many projects or initiatives to deliver the agreed outcomes and objectives within the assigned scope. The CMMS Senior Analyst is also expected to act as a resource and a subject matter expert (SME) to the CMMS Operations Team as well as the supported departments. The CMMS Senior Analyst is always expected to keep the confidentiality of the team and Senior Leadership discussions and advanced knowledge both at work and off hours. What You Will Need


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field OR five years related work experience in addition to:

  • Five years experience of Healthcare Maintenance Management, Project Management, Process Design, Improvement Analysis or related experience.


  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent

  • PeopleSoft Supply Chain or equivalent software experience

  • Cross Functional Department experience



• Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills

• Intermediate Project/Process Design or Improvement Analysis Skills

• Intermediate Knowledge of CMMS and Related Operations

• Advanced System/Application/Data Troubleshooting

• Advanced Analytical Skills, Critical Thinking and Root Cause Analysis Processing Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

•Advanced Data Query & Report Writing


• Advanced knowledge of Maintenance systems/operations in Healthcare setting

• Prefer knowledge / skills in any combination of the following:

• Oracle PeopleSoft (or other related ERP)

Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) specialty specific

• System Testing to include end to end testing with thought to all stakeholders

• System Testing/Data Modeling Applications

• Experience with Automation Anywhere RPA or equivalent skills, as specialty area applicable

• SQL, Business Objects (BO), and /or Reporting tools, as specialty area applicable


• Participates in internal and/or external training programs, staying current and compliant on technical skills applicable to assigned duties. • Understands and is proficient with the latest Advent Health standard version of desktop software and hardware, security restrictions and limitations, as well as application functions and consistently applies these principles. Knowledge and understanding of desktop and printing applications. Monitors and supports application upgrades, network patches as related to operational applications assigned. • Support CMMS Application(s), Supported Department Operations , and AdventHealth Corporate Initiatives o to optimize system effectiveness by improving existing business processes, productivity, efficiency and quality, maximizing their value while maintaining overall strategic priority o to facilitate cross-functional integration by actively participating in facility requirements gathering sessions to determine and document objectives and gaps for system implementation o to support all Maintenance processes, forms and applications, acting as first level support and subject matter expert (SME) to internal stakeholders o to transfer knowledge and skills by mentoring resources on required tasks, project expectations, best practices and development of system functionality • Acquire, maintain and increase knowledge of Supported Departments and CMMS Operations business processes and practice requirements, including applications, technology, policies, procedures and applicable Maintenance external laws to anticipate and define application design needs. • Be willing to explore & accept creative solutions; be prepared to alter business "as is" to "business as may need to be" for future system optimization • Willingly contribute and share ideas, system knowledge and understanding of core CMMS Operations and Supported Departments business processes to increase team/project effectiveness and establish positive working relationships by demonstrating a positive work attitude and an inclusive team environment. • Work with local and corporate business partners, both functional and technical, to develop functional specifications, document, build and test identified facility deployment specific processes, existing CMMS development and practices. • Work Closely with the CMMS Data Analyst to share operational and system processes and changes while supporting end to end data discrepancy resolutions • Work Closely with the CMMS the CMMS Training Manager to provide necessary information required for the on-boarding and development of end-users and share system limitations and advancements as applicable • Act as resource/liaison to all internal and external stakeholders as directed to ensure solutions related to identified gaps are completed on time, leading to successful experience for all internal and external stakeholders • Display consistent attention to detail to routinely create and present quality documentation and knowledge share through display of skills as a self-starter, quick learner and ability to work productively without supervision. • Function in a fluid environment to meet changing scope and task deadlines, to support multiple projects and/or initiatives, delivering on-time outcomes as specified within the project plan framework, including potential delays, gaps, issues or situations impacting outcomes, escalating to manager for potential plan revisions and /or remediation • Think strategically about the bigger picture in relation to tasks, corporate vision and the impacts on other projects and all stakeholders • Use independent judgement to escalate to leadership, report and log system and/or implementation issues for resolution. • Process and validate large and disparate data sets with an excellent "sense of data" mindset. • Participate as required in sessions for functional and technical specification development needed for interfaces, enhancements and conversions. • Communicates appropriately and effectively with co-workers, customers and supervisors, maintaining awareness of any network, mainframe and/or PC software issues, potential delays, and any situation or concern that may affect the productivity of supported systems. • Assists with communication, installations, configurations and maintenance of Advent Health specific CMMS applications, new software releases, system upgrades, evaluations, patches and resolutions to software related problems. Follows standard change management procedures. • Analyze and assist with problem identification and resolution associated with application software. • Assists with providing backup and recovery services. Assist with analyzing and maintaining data and system backup methodologies. Actively monitor daily backups. Participates on an as-needed basis, in the business continuity and disaster recovery activities. • Tracks all working hours on a daily basis within approved CMMS tool. Completes documentation in accordance to defined CMMS Work Order Management guidelines with detailed input and appropriate supporting documentation. • Communicates the need for new work and automatically looks for extra work as workload permits. • Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the CMMS Operations department.
