Documents medications/treatments/labs. Ensures that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately.Observes and records patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments.QualificationsWhat You Will Need: High school graduate or equivalent Current, valid Florida State Board of Nursing, Practical Nurse LicenseCurrent, valid CPR certificationGraduate of an Approved School of Practical/Vocational NursingDemonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements   Job Summary: The Float Licensed Practical Nurse (Float LPN), under the direction of the Senior Manager Float Pool, provides nursing care to patients within the LPN scope of practice outlines in the Nurse Practice Act and in the various practices to which they are assigned.  Assists physician during treatment and examination of patient and administers procedures and treatments as ordered by the physician.  Assists in patient education.  Maintains equipment, medications and work environment to the standards outlined in the FHMG Policy and Procedure manual. This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
