The role you’ll contribute:

Performs a wide range of routine landscaping maintenance tasks using hand or power tools or equipment. Duties may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, spraying, edging, pruning and sprinkler installation. Must be able to work odd hours to get work completed. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

§ Planting, Mowing, Edging, Mulching, Daily Trash/Debris Clean-up, Trimming, Pruning, Blowing, Watering, Spraying in accordance with campus schedules and department standards.

§ Treat nuisance weeds and undesirable vegetation in landscape bedding whether it be by chemical or physical means. Follow detailed department expectations for how and when to treat.

§ Be a very strong team player with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

· Self-motivated, with good organizational skills.

· General knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscape plants used in Florida.

· Skilled in the use of common landscape equipment such as weedeaters, hedge trimmers, edgers, hand mowers, etc.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :

· Valid Florida Class E driver’s license and safe driving record in accordance with AdvenHealth policy
