AdventHealth Altamonte Springs & AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are looking for dynamic and energetic Critical Care Physicians to join our team at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs.

These positions are a result of programmatic and companywide growth throughout AdventHealth as we continue to support and establish high quality Critical Care services to our Central Florida Region. The ideal candidate would have experience or be comfortable working in Medical and Surgical ICU settings. The practice would be affiliated to AHMG Critical Care Specialists of Central Florida, a 100 plus employed provider intensive care team, which reaches over 10 other AdventHealth campuses throughout Central and North Florida, caring for over 18000 critically patients a year.

• EPIC EMR System

• 28 Medical/Surgical ICU Beds – planning to expand when adding Thoracic Surgery

• 14 shifts a month

Requirements:

• Physicians must be board certified/eligible in the subspecialty of Critical Care Medicine. Group is open but not limited to Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Pulmonology, or Internal Medicine.

Practice Description

This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage (includes tail) CME allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance. This practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG). AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 900+ physicians in 70+ specialties. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

AdventHealth Altamonte Springs was established as the first satellite campus of the Florida Hospital system in 1973 and has grown into the leading health care provider in Seminole County. The 398-bed hospital cares for more than 200,000 patients a year, including 84,000 emergency patients, 23,000 inpatients, 2,500 baby deliveries, approximately 12,000 surgical cases, and 98,171 outpatient procedures.
