Medical Geneticist (Cardiovascular), AdventHealth Orlando
Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic medical geneticist with special interest and/or training in cardiovascular genetics to join our team at our Medical Genetics & Genomics clinic in Orlando, Florida. This excellent opportunity would join our three other physicians, two APPs, and genetic counselors and continue to grow our program working within our multidisciplinary teams of experienced clinicians in pediatric and adult cardiology. We aspire to provide comprehensive state of the art genetic and genomic services to all patients within the AdventHealth system (locally, regionally and nationally).
Requirements include board eligibility or board certification in Clinical Genetics through the American Board of Medical Genetics & Genomics.

The AdventHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute (AH HLVI) is one of the busiest centers of its kind in the nation. We are a leading provider of cardiovascular and thoracic services among Medicare patients with national rankings that include: #1 in Cardiology volume, #1 in Vascular Surgery volume, #5 in Thoracic Surgery volume and #8 in Open Heart Surgery volume. The AH HLVI is centered in a tertiary facility known as AdventHealth Orlando within the Ginsburg Tower. This 15-story environment of healing and wholistic care offers patients a full range of comprehensive heart and vascular care, including 12 hybrid operating rooms housing electrophysiology, vascular and interventional cardiology.
Practice Description
This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation.
