Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full time, Exempt

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Works with COO on planning, organizing and directing Imaging Services operations and ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.

  • Makes daily rounds in Imaging Services to judge effectiveness of operation, utilization of personnel and supplies, and general ethical and professional atmosphere.

  • Initiates and actuates improved methods of imaging services and directs their implementation.

  • Prepares department budgets for personnel, operating expenses and capital equipment. Responsible for fiscal operation of the department.

  • Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.


What You Will Need:

  • Associate Degree

  • Registrations ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist),LRT State of Kansas

  • BLS certification through American Heart Association

Job Summary:

Responsible for the management of daily clinical operations of specific areas of the Imaging Department, including equipment, personnel and customer service functions. Assists the COO in performing personnel functions including hiring, evaluations, promotions, disciplinary process and scheduling. Verifies that all personnel are properly trained on equipment and competent in its use, and that annual competencies, certifications, licensures and education requirements are current. Responsible for assisting the COO in the development, implementation, maintenance and enforcement of departmental programs, policies, procedures and protocols. Maintains required documentation for compliance with safety, environmental and infection control standards as well as local, state, FDA, ACR, TJC and HIPAA regulations. Acts as a liaison to COO and Physician Groups.
