Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time, Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Work closely with OR staff to facilitate instrument turnovers

• Communicates with board runner, facilitators and OR staff of any instrument issues

• Train new associates

• Assist with in-services

• Maintain count sheets

• Assist staff with quality issues

• Accurately assemble instrument trays.

• Sterilize instruments.

• Return sterile instruments to their proper location.

• Stock patient care equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma

• 1-2 years of position related experience

• Certified through IAHCSMM or CBSPD and/or Certified Surgical Technologist
