Shift : Nights

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for developing, achieving, and maintaining the goals of the emergency department by focusing on the unit or department’s daily operations. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. Collaboratively works with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting initiatives, and ensuring units/departments are appropriately staffed. Will assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

  • Daily productivity and expense management and support emergency department manager with budget preparation

  • Support daily staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity

  • Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals Encourage associate participation in decision through shared governance structure .

  • Develop an understanding around the importance of relationships and support team dynamics by role modeling professional behavior.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing

  • Two years clinical RN experience in the Emergency Department

  • One-year clinical leadership preferred

  • Current Colorado RN License or a Compact RN License from a NCLA Compact State

  • BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
