The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, is responsible for daily supervision of the CT department. Provides technical support to staff, radiologists and physicians. May image IP/OP/ED patients, while following age specific guidelines of Florida Hospital. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Accepts additional roles assigned by department manager.

• Supervises daily operation of CT. Reroutes staff, assigns duties as necessary. (Supervision)

• Performs CT evaluations 100% on time, performs job competencies and educational assessments.

• Ensures CT staff is performing all CT exams according to protocol on all patients of all ages following the age specific guidelines of Florida Hospital. Ensures team members are following through with transmitting images to PACS, and updating the computer. (Clinical Competence)

• Monitors overtime, absenteeism, tardiness and time and attendance daily. Inputs call hours. Assists with staff schedules. Assists in the interviewing and hiring process. (Personal productivity and Accountability)

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Required:

• AS degree in Radiological Technology or healthcare related field

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert

• Certified Radiographer

• Florida State License- general radiographer

• ARRT – R
