Schedule: PRN

Shift:  M-F 5pm-12am, Sat-Sun 7am-12am, some Friday shifts 7am-12am and possible vacation coverage

Location: AdventHealth Parker

The role you'll contribute:

Performs electroencephalograph (EEG) testing.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Applies electrodes in accordance with the ACNS guidelines.

• Performs prescribed testing. Reviews patient’s history and educates patient about procedure.

• Monitors and documents patient’s condition and responds to and reports and adverse reactions.

• Identifies and corrects for artifacts. Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

• Scores/graphs, analyses, documents, and reports results of diagnostic procedures.

• On call requirement per department policy.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.

• Successful completion of EEG registry within 2 years of hire date.

Preferred:

• Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient or inpatient.

• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR).

• Associate’s degree
