Work Hours/Shift:

PRN - to cover gaps in scheduling - 8 -10 hr shifts

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • To assist the Occupational Therapist in the provision of treatment, discharge planning, education and preventative rehabilitative care to patients in need of same.

  • Services may be provided across the full continuum of care and should be rendered in a cost conscious, quality focused and customer oriented manner.

  • Enable the provision of care that allows for the restoration or improvement of function while reducing dependencies and in the reduction and/or prevention of injuries.

  • Accountable for regulatory compliance for documentation and charges as well as adherence to all system and department policies and procedure

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire

  • Current Licensure in Georgia

  • Graduate of an accredited school with an Associate degree as an Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:

To deliver individualized, age-appropriate patient care in the field of Occupational Therapy; to act as a role model for care delivery.
