Work Hours/Shifts:

FT Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Assessing, planning, coordinating and delivering patient care on assigned group of patients

  • Acts as preceptor when needed

  • Provides education to patients and families from admission to discharge

  • Demonstrates proficient technical skills and operational knowledge on all equipment used on the unit

  • Candidate would be trained with outpatients and inpatients


What You Will Need:

  • BSN/ASN degree

  • Current GA RN license

  • Current BLS

  • 1 year minimum nursing care required

Job Summary:

Communicate with telemetry and nursing for the mobilization of patients to start Phase I Cardiac Rehab. Review charts, teach home program, assess and screen patients for cardiac rehab.

Phase 2 - Treat patient in the outpatient setting following cardiac intervention. Assess patients at onset, set plan of care, develop exercise program, orient patient to the program, assess and monitor patient throughout each exercise session, update plan of care, communicate with physician, education to the patient and family
