You Will Be Responsible For:
Accurately places into stock wholesaler and direct orders with stickers.
Accurately posts charges and credits.
Answers telephone identifying self and department, assisting caller.
Completes order requisitions to Purchasing Department both accurately and timely.
Ensures assigned areas are checked for outdates and documentation completed for life safety replacement (ex. code carts).
Ensures correct labeling for all oral and injectable preparations documenting lot numbers and expiration dates for regulatory compliance.
What You Will Need:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
Good Computer skills
State of Florida License as Registered Pharmacy Technician within one year (365 days) of start date
Pharmacy Technician Trainee Certification Board (PTCB) Certification (CPhT) within one year (365 days) of start date.
Previous Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred)
The Pharmacy Technician Trainee is a non-registered and certified or non-certified assistant to the Pharmacist. The employee will be trained and ultimately expected to perform various drug distributive, record-keeping, and accountability functions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. They must also obtain national certification (CPhT) and state licensure within one year (365 days) of start date.
