You Will Be Responsible For:
Promotes a customer oriented leadership style through a nurturing, patient/family-focused behavior, while applying evidence-based practices.
Demonstrates performance based on professional nursing practice standards, relevant statutes, rules and regulations, and organizational criteria.
Identifies, develops, and implements performance improvement activities to enhance the delivery of patient care.
Maintains a professional demeanor and serves as a role model for staff.
What You Will Need:
Minimum of RN
Knowledgeable of Perioperative Nursing Roles
Knowledgeable of AORN Guidelines and Standards of Practice
Demonstrates leadership & teaching abilities (Preferred)
Current Florida RN License
BLS – condition of employment
ACLS prior to or within 90 days of employment or transfer
Basic EKG Class prior to or within 90 days of employment or transfer
A Clinically competent uncertified surgical tech that works under the supervision of the registered nurse in delivering safe and effective care to the patient during the intraoperative period. Assists surgeons in a manner as to make procedures smooth flowing. Strictly adheres to aseptic technique. Effectively interacts with patients and health care team members, while maintaining the Surgical Services Department standards.
