The role you’ll contribute:
The Director of Analytic Insights will provide direction and lead a team of analysts responsible for the development of actionable insights and strategic direction for market teams and other executive leaders. Insights will be gathered from, but not limited to, financial outcomes, quality metric performance, utilization statistics, health management performance, and provider engagement measurements. The Director will be accountable for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, delivering standard reporting on schedule, and innovation in the analytics space to develop and extend appropriate and valuable information and insights to key stakeholders. The Director of Analytics will also be responsible for collaborating with providers, clinically integrated networks, Hospital administrators, Research, Process Improvement, Quality Improvement departments and corporate Senior Executives.

Accountable for leading the development and delivery of standard CIN, provider, payor and market performance reporting
Leads the team accountable for transforming data into actionable insights
Responsible for the team of analysts that work directly with the market and other executive leaders on their day-to-day analytics business needs
Accountable for continuous development of innovative ways to share opportunity insights that lead to improved performance in value-based contracts
Integrates data from multiple sources related to complex or cross-functional issues
Conducts clients’ needs assessments, scoping and documenting the work, performing the actual project deliveries, and presenting the final results
Gathers, organizes, and documents user requirements and specifications for routine or moderately complex statistical analysis and programs
Thinks through connections between medical concepts and what might be found in medical claims and other population databases. Contributes to hypothesis development for quasi-experimental designs and contributes to design of database queries
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, allied health, or other relevant field and 7 years’ experience in analytics OR
Master’s degree in Outcome Research, Statistics/Bio-Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Nursing, or related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience in a health care environment
Minimum 4 years working in value-based care analytics and analytics leadership
Strong ability in quantitative and qualitative analysis, relational database, SQL, SAS and/or other statistical tools, data mining tools. Familiarity with web-based tools and other reporting and data mining tools.
Experience with teams analyzing very large medical claims and clinical databases
Working knowledge of health care analytics in a payor or provider environment
Ability to understand and predict analytical needs, produce quality insights through analytics and communicate results that help improve processes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to appropriately communicate with all internal and external customers
Possess critical-thinking and effective problem-solving skills; ability to conceptualize, analyze, plan, organize, audit and train; and report performance, results and other required information
