AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, a leading faith based not for profit health system, is searching for a BC/BE Family Medicine physicians to work alongside 16 physicians, and 9 APPs to provide care in our largest clinic located in Shawnee Mission, Kansas on the campus of the Shawnee Mission Hospital. The ideal physician would provide care for pediatrics to geriatrics and have experience supervising advanced practice providers.

Our physicians provide outpatient only family medicine and share outpatient call with 24 other providers which offers for an excellent work life balance. The office has excellent support staff that allows the physician to focus his/her time seeing patients and delivering top notch “whole person” care, a trademark of AdventHealth.

The physician would be employed by Advent Health Medical Group, a large multispecialty group comprised of around 150 + providers and would have an initial base salary guarantee with a bonus based on productivity. AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is an award winning 504 bed hospital with a Medical Staff of over 700 physicians representing over 50 specialties and subspecialties. The hospital has a level III NICU with 24-hour neonatology coverage and is affiliated with the MD Anderson Cancer Network.

Located in suburban Kansas City, the area has affordable housing, low cost of living and excellent schools.
