Work Hours/Shift:
You Will Be Responsible For:


  • Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency in:
  • Standard work parameters
  • Operational programs
  • Delivery and compounding systems
  • Hospital computer systems
  • Medication ordering systems
  • Maintains operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services provided by
  • Central Pharmacy
  • IV Room
  • Delivery
  • Controlled Substances
  • Oncology Compounding
  • Quality Assurance & Sampling
  • Technician Inventory Check
  • Medication History
  • Clinical Services
  • AND (at least one of the following):
  • Designated Trainer
  • Quality Assurance Auditing
  • Oversees appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems
  • Accurately interprets electronic records
  • Maintains expertise in Cerner processes
  • Manages proper and complete patient profile record
  • Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and delivery of patientspecific medication doses
  • Manages medication delivery activities
  • Prepares accurate medication products for delivery
  • Prevents improper drug, dose, dosage form selecti
  • surgery and code blue carts and complete appropriate charge sheet

  • What You Will Need:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two Years of Pharmacy Experience
  • Kansas Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB, ICPT or NHA)
Job Summary:

Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. Supports pharmacists and provides distributive pharmacy services. To provide safe and accurate medication services and to support all those involved in direct patient care
