You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Work collaboratively with all departments and leaders in addressing patient placement and throughput.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing

    Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or obtained within 4 years of employment

  • Kansas Registered Nurse License

  • BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association

  • 1 to 2 Years of Experience in Acute inpatient hospital Nursing (ie. MSU, CCU, PCU, HNVU, Ortho or Oncology)

 
 
Job Summary:

The RN Patient Placement Specialist works under the direction of the Patient Placement Coordinator to support the optimization of patient throughput. The RN Patient Placement Specialist will collaborate with charge nurses, patient care units, and physicians to ensure efficient and appropriate patient placement.  This position will assist in posting room/bed charges and level of service changes.
