You Will Be Responsible For:
Accepts flexibility of schedule to meet program needs.
Excellent medical knowledge as it relates to LPN practices during patient coordination of care.
Communicate information to patients and families and other providers and service representatives.
Demonstrates care for one another by working all areas, open to change, sensitive to department needs, effectively participates in conflict resolution/problem solving.
Prevents casual overtime at all times and completes work in a timely manner.
Maintains accurate legible documentation of patient medications and messages, sample meds, and pharmacy documentation.
Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost and impact on daily operations.
What You Will Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Graduate of school or program for Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED :
- Current license – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or licensure from another state with certification of application and eligibility licensure by endorsement.
The Call Center Representative (CCRLPN) should be a Licensed Practical Nurse and work seamlessly with: patients, healthcare teams and resource providers in the Hospital, Physician Offices and other facilities. The CCRLPN is responsible for answering phones in a timely and professional manner while scheduling patients with physician offices via incoming and outbound calls. The CCRLPN should be customer service focused to create an excellent patient experience. The CCRLPN should provide operational support in delivery of patient care in a call setting environment and is responsible for assisting with daily call center operations including but not limited to billing, invoicing, scheduling, updating and managing patient medication lists, medication refill requests, tracking of procedures, reporting and insurance verification via workflow designated.
