You Will Be Responsible For:
Prepares reports from business intelligence applications for data manipulation and statistical analysis to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
Under guidance of the Lead Business Intelligence Analyst, provides technical resource support, training and oversight.
Educates users in analysis and interpretation of financial, statistical and qualitative data to achieve the desired product result.
Supports executive committees by facilitating preparation of reports and providing statistical ad hoc information.
Collaborates with Quality Management, Patient Safety & Risk Management, Nursing and Medical Staff to identify opportunities for process improvement efforts through advanced statistical analyses and process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.

What You Will Need:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills.
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work with data that is of a sensitive and confidential nature.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families, and visitors.
Bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program) in business administration, health services administration or computer science.
Minimum three years experience working in Microsoft Excel with strong knowledge of utilizing conditional formatting, PivotTables, PivotCharts, functions and formulas.
The Business Intelligence Analyst position is responsible for data aggregation and manipulation of departmental data using source systems for analysis, comparison, trending and clinical support information. Serves as an internal consultant in the areas of process improvement, change management, performance monitoring and advanced statistical analysis. Utilizes cutting-edge software and technical applications to provide real-time actionable reports in an easily accessible format throughout all levels of the organization to facilitate the translation of data into information. Provides technical support, oversight and training to departmental team members to reduce redundant data extraction activities, leverage crossfunctional databases, and review/validate data reported and shared amongst departmental team members, communicating these efforts to the Lead Business Intelligence Analyst and Business Intelligence Manager. Promotes a culture of objective decision making through the utilization of available analytical tools by educating, mentoring, consulting, and collaborating with providers and staff.
