You Will Be Responsible For:
Strategically plans and oversees new outpatient imaging facilities (both facility and mobile-based), with the help of Non-Acute and Strategic Leadership, to expand the geographic footprint of the West FL Division.
Performs the day-to-day operations for each new under the direction of the Director of Non-Acute Service Line Development.
Ensures staff provides high quality, accessible, cost effective care, and patient focused services, which comply with local, state, and federal requirements.
Develops services that achieve a high level of customer satisfaction with emphasis on the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Develops and implements initiatives to drive incremental volume in services lines aligned with the strategic plan and in accordance with the mission and vision.
Utilizes research data to implement clinical changes and the delivery of patient care and member services.
Collaborates with other internal and external leaders in identifying and implementing innovative models and best practices, emphasizing service improvements and cost reduction.
Collaborates with physician team leader, department chief and executive team in developing the level of patient services and the day-to-day operations of the department.
Ensure staff provides the highest quality of care and are in compliance with regulating bodies to include the Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO, Radiological Health Branch, federal, state, and local requirements.
Manages the financial performance and identifies and implements strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care and services.
Develops and monitors budgets and resource allocations.
Monitors reimbursement and revenue cycle in areas of responsibility to ensure the optimum levels.
Responsible for expanding the services and service line to meet the needs of the Division.
Demonstrates ongoing professional growth and development of self and of the personnel in the department.
Plans and monitors staffing activities and effectively communicates departmental, organization and industry information to staff.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
Experience Opening new outpatient imaging facilities.
Experience Operating multiple outpatient imaging facilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor of Science Radiology, Business, Finance, or related field.
Requires broad and intensive knowledge of Radiology Services.
Minimum of 3 years in the management arena of outpatient imaging.
Expertise in business planning, financial management of resources and specific clinical knowledge required.
Minimum of 5 years professional work experience-broad based knowledge of imaging or similar healthcare service.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Progressive management experience
Previous experience as a director of imaging with high degree of complexity.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Certification in a radiology specialty RT, RRA, CNMT, ARDMS, or AART
Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
Relevant Certifications (FACHE, LQMS, etc...)
The Director of Outpatient Imaging is responsible for the strategic and operational development of outpatient imaging facilities throughout the West Florida Division (WFD) of AdventHealth. As the Director of Outpatient Imaging, you will be responsible for overall leadership, daily operations, strategic planning, compliance, quality assurance, safety and budgets for multiple location modalities throughout the WFD.
The Director of Outpatient Imaging is directly responsible for the performance of Outpatient Imaging Department. Responsibilities include: identifying, initiating and facilitating coordinative efforts for outpatient imaging services into the future; planning, organizing, directing, evaluating and coordinating technical, professional and nursing personnel in the care delivery of outpatient clinical services across the division; ensuring quality, volume and access of all modalities at all outpatient imaging locations. In charge of developing and overseeing the care and coordination provided by the various modalities within the Imaging department, and acts as the leader and liaison between the physicians, patients, staff, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Works with the Medical staff and other Directors and Administration, developing strategic plans for providing quality care and cost-effective services which are aligned with federal, state, and local regulations. Reports data utilization and implements quality improvement initiatives.
