You Will Be Responsible For:
Ensures that patient care is provided with clinical competence and in a courteous, professional manner consistent with the Gold Medal Experience.

Manages all direct reports
Develops positive working relationships with staff and other functional team members within the hospital as well as with both internal and external referral sources.
Completes timely, meaningful performance evaluations and provides regular feedback and mentoring on performance.
Conducts staff meetings to facilitate active communication, team building, problem-solving and training.
Collaborates with the Chief of Surgery regarding patient care issues and communication with the Medical Staff.
Collaborates with Physician Management FOI for surgical operations improvement
Collaborates with Leadership team, Physicians and Performance Management to ensure compliance with all Surgical Services regulations, state laws and Joint Commission standards.
Manages department Performance Improvement activities to improve processes and outcomes.Components include publicly reported clinical outcomes, SCIP, infection control, clinical record review, Joint Commission compliance, Safety and Risk Management, and patient, physician and employee satisfaction. Reports to hospital PI Committee.
Works with Surgical Chief of Surgery, Chief of Surgical Sub Specialty, Chief of Anesthesia and Nursing Leadership to ensure Surgical Standards are met.
Serves on Surgical Division Committee, FOI Co-Management Committee, Surgical Value Analysis, and Operative Invasive Committee.
What You Will Need:
BS Degree in Nursing or business management / financial concepts
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
5 years of leadership experience in Perioperative Services
Active RN license in the State of Florida.AORN membership and CNOR certification
Responsible for the planning, implementation and management of the clinical and business functions of
Surgical Services Departments, Anesthesia Department, PACU, Central Sterile and Pre-Admission Service for FH-Carrollwood. Responsible for compliance with all local, state and federal codes, rules, JC requirements, statutes and regulations pertaining to the operation of Surgical Services. Responsible for providing collaborative processes to facilitate development of the hospitals mission, vision and values within Surgical Services, which includes strategic business planning and operational plans, service designs, resource allocations and organizational policies. Responsibility for management, administration and operation of the Surgical Services Line and is responsible for daily department operations, ensures appropriate employee training and education and on-going supervision. In addition, this position is responsible for the planning and implementation of departmental budgets and program priorities in collaboration with Surgical Services throughout the FH Carrollwood facility.
